The Boston Blockchain Association (BBA) began in 2019 as a small group of friends sitting around a table at a WeWork in Boston, united by a single big idea: Boston could become a global hub for blockchain innovation. With deep roots in finance, advanced technology expertise, and world-class academic institutions, Boston is uniquely positioned to lead in the blockchain space.

Today, BBA has grown into a thriving global community of over 3,500 blockchain enthusiasts, including technologists, entrepreneurs, investors, educators, and students – all sharing a passion for how blockchain is transforming the world.
